Mike Foxworthy - CEO/Founder

Mike, aka The Mikeyman, was born on America's birthday, in L.A. CA. Dad was into music and always had guitars and drums about the house. Since his big brother had already picked up the guitar, Mikey decided to learn percussion. He had a knack for it instantly. Mikeyman got into Rock and Roll at a fairly early age, enhancing his ability to play the harder stuff easily. At around age 10, his step dad turned him on to Jazz drummer Buddy Rich ... he was determined to play like that someday.

Excelling in athletics, motor sports and music, he got hungry for something new so somewhere around Jr. High School (that's what they called it back then) Mike got his first computer ... a Radio Shack MC-10. Soon after he graduated to the TRS80 and progressed pretty good. He was playing in an all-original band called Mood Swing. With little time left on his term with the USN, Mike rekindled his interest in computers. Upon discharge he hooked up with MCI and got his start in the Wide World of Networking. A few years down the road, he moved to Amsterdam as a pivotal piece in their cable Internet.

Mikeyman has recently picked up an interest in guitar and bass ... he's coming along pretty good too. Now with 3 kids, an impressive resume, a couple of musical projects and a basement full of kick-arse equipment the Garage Radio idea was born. Brother John, aka Roadrash, Knew this was a killer idea and came aboard. You can experience Mikeyman's efforts all over Garage Radio, from the stream to the database, and all the backend stuff you can't see. Here's a little more you probably didn't know about him:
